General Traveling

Over this weekend I headed out to Agra. The general compartment of the train was unusually full. Fellow travelers consoled, 'It's the season of Vrindavan Parikrama.'

The Jan Pratinidi who got on at Mathura offerd this peal of wisdom in a very Kulbhushan Kharbanda voice: 'Rich people have spoilt kids[the exact beautiful Hindi word goes over my head], it's all Karma, do something of your own. You will be very happy after death.'
