Creator of Lalitaji, Chaplin of Cheery Blossom and the Liril girl, adman Alyque Padamsee impersonating ruler of the Olympian gods Zeus, in an old ad for newspaper Dainik Bhaskar.

Love that ad! Reminds me of this really tongue-in-cheek piece Jug Suraiya wrote in a Sunday TOI called "God is a Kachhi"!

I like Jug Suraiya's writing but can't stand that paper (however occasionally they do carry some nice stories about Kashmir). Me and my friends we call it EPK - English Punjab Kesari. No offense to Punjab Kesari.
